LYNDONVILLE, Vt. – Finishing a 3K with ten of the top-15 runners at the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Preview Meet, the Husson women's cross country squad coasted in seven runners in the top-ten to help secure first place out of all other conference opponents on Sunday.

Pacing the Eagles, freshman Payton Goodwin once again finished first ahead of her teammates with a time of 14:13.0 for a 7:38 average mile and third place while teammate sophomore Isabelle Jackson followed in fourth (14:29.5).

Two Eagles took on the course side-by-side as first year Devyn Veits (14:33.6) and senior Lindsey Joliat (14:35.3) were barely two seconds apart taking seventh and eighth.

Six Husson runners practiced pack running as they all flocked in one after another as freshman Norah Garvey them all in tenth place at the 14:39.8 mark to beat out 45 other runners.

The Eagles will prepare to host their lone meet of the season inviting several teams to Saxl Park for the Husson Harrier Invitational on Saturday, September 14th.
