FREDERICTON, New Brunswick – The Husson men's and women's cross country teams journeyed up to Canada for the second consecutive year to compete in the RSEQ AUS Interlock Meet at the University of New Brunswick. The women pushed through the humidity walking away with 6th place after running a full 6k for the first time competitively while racing against two of the top 15 teams in Canada, St. Francis Xavier and Dalhousie, taking first and third.
Lindsey Joliat continues to impress, leading the Eagles once again with a time of 26:58 for a solid 27th place finish. Morgan Clifford followed behind less than a minute later in 36th place with a time of 27:53.
The women will be back in action on Saturday, September 30 as they travel to compete in the Bowdoin Invitational.
