16 Eagles Recognized on Women's T&F NAC All-Conference Team

WATERVILLE, Maine - North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Track & Field programs competed in a multi-conference championship event Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28 on the campus of Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts. The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) and New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) also participated. Each conference crowned their own Men's and Women's Team Champions. An overall Combined Team Champion for each gender was awarded for the team that accumulated the most points across all three conferences. SUNY Delhi won both titles for men and women.

NAC All-Conference major award selections are determined by a vote of the conference head coaches.

SUNY Delhi freshman Katerina Salcedo was selected as the 2019 NAC Women's Track & Field Track Athlete of the Year, and Thomas College sophomore Lilly Friars was selected as the Field Athlete of the Year. Delhi freshman Aliyah McLean was voted Rookie of the Year, and Northern Vermont-Lyndon senior Abby Salvadore was selected as the Senior Scholar Athlete. Delhi head coach Robb Munro was chosen as the Coach of the Year, and seven women's track and field student-athletes were named to the Sportsmanship Team.

Husson saw 16 Eagles take first-place and second-place finishes at the NAC Championship, to earn NAC First and Second Team All-Conference honors, respectively.
