  • Husson Athletics Congratulates Frank Fazzino on his New Coaching Role

    BANGOR, Maine - After working as the throws coach and strength and conditioning coach for both the indoor and outdoor men's and women's track & field programs over the past two years, Frank Fazzino will be entering his third year at Husson University as the associate head coach for six programs. He will continue working primarily with the throwers in all four track & field programs, but Fazzino will also enter into a new role working with the men's and women's cross country teams as the associate head coach alongside head coach Kate Goupee.
  • Desjardins Becomes First Female Indoor T&F Runner to Earn All-New England Honors at New England DIII Championship

    BRUNSWICK, Maine –Junior Leah Desjardins set new milestones for the Husson women’s indoor track & field program as she became the first ever female Eagle to earn All-New England honors. The four Eagles who represented the Husson program at the New England Division III Championship at Bowdoin College, took 21st place overall. 
  • Four Women's T&F Runners Set to Compete at New England DIII Championship

    BANGOR, Maine – The Husson women’s indoor track & field program are set to send four student-athletes to represent the Eagles at the New England Division III Championship this weekend at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. The meet will commence on Friday, February 22nd with events continuing through Saturday, February 23rd.

    BRUNSWICK, Maine – Traveling down to Bowdoin College for the Maine Indoor State Championship on Friday night, the Husson women’s indoor track & field squad scored 40 points altogether for fifth while taking on a couple top-ten teams in New England. With their score, the Eagles recorded the second most points at the Championship in program history.

    GORHAM, Maine – Taking on several NCAA Division II schools, the Husson women's indoor track & field squad finished the Southern Maine Invitational II with 41.50 points as they tied for fifth place with Merrimack College, out of ten total teams/clubs competing.

    BRUNSWICK, Maine – Taking on four top-20 ranked teams in New England last season, the Husson women’s indoor track & field team brought home sixth place with 27 points as they competed against eight other schools at the Bowdoin Invitational I all day Saturday. 
  • Women's Indoor T&F Open Up Winter Season at Southern Maine Invitational #1

    GORHAM, Maine – The Husson women’s indoor track & field team performed well in their meet of the season as they competed against a few other Maine schools in a non-scoring event at the University of Southern Maine. By the end of the day, 18 different Eagles had placed in the top-seven with countless second place finishes at the Southern Maine Invitational #1 on Saturday afternoon.

Whitney will serve as the assistant coach for the men’s & women’s cross country team and the sprints & jumps coach for the men’s & women’s indoor and outdoor track & field teams.
