Top Moments of 2018-19: Women's Tennis Wins First NAC Championship in Program History

BANGOR, Maine - After a 10-0 undefeated season, the Husson women's tennis team achieved a program first. In just their fourth year as a program, the Eagles captured their first North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship Title to earn an automatic qualifier to the 2018-19 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championship Tournament.

Husson defeated Lesley College with a clean sweep in the final round of the NAC Championship Tournament on October 6th to fulfill their undefeated season and take home the trophy. 

Senior Meridith Blessard was named MVP of the NAC Championship Tournament after securing the win with a 6-1, 6-0 singles victory followed by a successful, 8-0, doubles duel paired up with teammate Ashley Matlock. Blessard was the lone Eagle to compete in the finals round twice.
