Women's Swimming & Diving Takes Home Second Place At Regis Invitational

WESTON, Mass. - The Husson University women's swimming & diving team took runner-up honors at the Regis Invitational with 147 points on Sunday at the Regis Aquatics Center.

Regis (Mass.) won their home invite with 221 points, while Elms took third with 60 points.

THE RUNDOWN:

  • The quartet of Erin Aucoin, Abby Ketch, Maddie Wing and Ellie Clarke finished second in the 200 Free Relay with a 1:47.78.
  • The group of Morgan Veilleux, Kayla Redman, Emily Grinnell and Ava Emery finished fifth in the 200 Free Relay with a 1:55.43.
  • Sydney Jordan, Kelsey Poland, Ivana Radovanovic and Abbie Howe swam together to finish in sixth in the 200 Free Relay with a time of 2:01.09.
  • Jillian Clapp placed fifth in the 500 Free (6:15.51) and the 50 Free (28.78), fourth in the 200 Free (2:18.88), and 12th in the 100 Free (1:04.57)
  • Hannah Soutter was sixth in the 500 Free (6:15.99) and the 50 Fly (31.16), fifth in the 50 Back (34.02), and third in the 200 IM (2:40.80).
  • Ashleigh Beaudoin finished eighth in the 500 Free (7:18.94), 13th in the 50 Free (33.24), seventh in the 200 Free (2:40.99) and 17th in the 100 Free (1:14.05).
  • Aucoin took fourth in the 100 Fly (1:07.86), second in the 200 IM (2:29.40), won the 200 Free (2:07.89), and placed third in the 100 Free (58.39).
  • Grinnell placed third in the 50 Breast (37.54), second in the 200 Breast (2:56.55) and the 100 Breast (1:21.97), and tenth in the 50 Fly (34.46).
  • Grace Emig was fifth in the 50 Breast (41.98).
  • Poland took sixth in the 50 Breast (44.25) and the 200 Free (2:39.20), and finished 11th in the 50 Free (31.86).
  • Clarke finished second in the 200 Back (2:24.01), won the 50 Back (29.88), and placed third in the 100 Back (1:05.18), and fifth in the 100 Free (59.30).
  • Ketch placed fifth in the 200 Back (2:34.60), second in the 50 Free (27.39) and the 200 Free (2:17.24), and tied for eighth in the 100 Free (1:02.50).
  • Howe was sixth in the 200 Back (2:41.60) and the 50 Back (34.25), ninth in the 100 Back (1:12.98), and 18th in the 100 Free (1:14.19).
  • Wing finished third in the 100 IM (1:09.12), tied for third in the 50 Free (27.70), and placed seventh in the 50 Fly (31.48) and 11th in the 100 Free (1:03.23).
  • Redman took fifth in the 100 IM (1:14.43), ninth in the 50 Back (36.03), and tenth in the 100 Free (1:03.10).
  • Radovanovic was sixth in the 100 IM (1:15.64), seventh in the 50 Back (34.89), and ninth in the 50 Fly (33.68).
  • Veilleux tied for third in the 50 Free (27.70), took fifth in the 200 Free (2:18.88), and tied for eighth in the 100 Free (1:02.50).
  • Jordan was ninth in the 50 Free (31.86) and 15th in the 100 Free (1:09.23).
  • Emery placed third in the 200 Breast (3:03.28) and the 100 Breast (1:22.56), and  fifth in the 50 Fly (30.28).
  • Alyssa Patterson finished second in the 1-meter diving (256.50 pts.).
  • Clarke, Amery, Wing, and Aucoin took third in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 2:06.60.
  • Howe, Grinnell, Soutter and Ketch finished fourth in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 2:09.58.
  • Radovanovic, Redman, Clapp and Veilleux placed sixth in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 2:15.18.
