BOSTON - The first day of the 2019 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship is complete and the Husson University women sit in fourth place through the six events with 68 points.
Simmons University leads the pack with 141 points while Regis College (104), Norwich University (78), Husson and Elms College (61) round out the top five.
- The quartet of Jelena Graef, Kayla Redman, Ashley Clark and Maddie Wing finished sixth in the 200 Free Relay with a time of 1:51.81, an effort worth 26 points.
- Erin Aucoin finished eighth in the 1000 Free with a new school record time of 11:44.13, an effort worth 11 points.
- Wing, Kassidy Harris, Ava Emery and Aucoin capped off day one of the 2019 GNAC Championship for the women by finishing fourth in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 2:02.02, an effort worth 30 points.
Action resumes tomorrow morning at the Holmes Sports Center with the prelims starting at 10:30 a.m.
