Women's Soccer Announces First Commitment of 2019 Season

BANGOR, Maine – An Eagle for life, Miranda Lewis, a defender from Windham, Maine, will be joining the Husson Eagles women's soccer squad as the first commitment for the 2019 team. 

She was consistently active growing up, competing not only as a starter on the varsity women's soccer team at Windham High School for two years, but was also a member of the indoor track & field team her first three years of high school then finished off her track & field career outdoors her senior year. Interested in exploring all sports and achieving new athletic strengths, Lewis also spent three seasons trying out her hand eye coordination on the women's lacrosse team, then finished out her senior year as a Windham Eagle on the slopes competing for her alpine ski team.

Born to be an Eagle, Lewis is a passionate player and dedicated teammate, earning Second Team All-Conference and the Coaches Award following her senior season. Outside of her high school, she is finishing off her second year on the Velocity Soccer Club U-18 Girls' Team as a captain.
