  • Women’s Lacrosse Drops Spring Break Opener to Bears, 18-7

    The Husson University women’s lacrosse team made the trek to Hilton Head, South Carolina earlier this week to compete over Spring Break. On Tuesday, the Eagles fell to SUNY Potsdam, 18-7, in their opening game.

    STANDISH, Maine – Husson University women’s lacrosse (0-1) opened up their 2020 season with a non-conference match-up against Saint Joseph’s College of Maine (1-0).  The Eagles lost in a back-and-forth game with the Monks, seeing a final score of 9-7.

    WATERVILLE, Maine - SUNY Canton received all six first-place votes to emerge as the clear favorite in the 2020 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women's Lacrosse preseason coaches' poll. In a tightly packed middle, Husson landed in second place with 26 points, while UMaine-Farmington was third with 23 points.

    GRAND LAKE, Colo. - The Husson women's lacrosse team received their first acknowledgement from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) by being named one of 312 schools across Division I, II, III, and NAIA as IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Squads for the 2018-19 academic year. To qualify for this prestigious honor, the women’s lacrosse team must have posted a 3.0 or higher team GPA for the academic year.
