WATERVILLE, Maine - Achieving North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Rookie of the Week for her third time this season, Mary Cushing also performed well enough to be awarded NAC Player of the Week for her first time, as well. Helping sweep the NAC women's lacrosse weekly awards, Mallory Burchill was named the Defensive Player of the Week for her first weekly honor of her career.

Mary Cushing, Husson - (Freshman, A/M - Fairfield, Vermont)
Cushing scored a game-high six goals to help take down Thomas, 14-9, in conference play this week. She also put up four goals and two assists against NVU-Lyndon to help lead her team to a 23-2 victory as the Eagles improved to 3-1 in the NAC. By the end of the week, the rookie accumulated 13 points between ten goals and three assists while also winning 11 draw controls, scooping up 11 ground balls, and causing three turnovers. She currently leads her team and all freshman in the NAC in goals (39) and overall points (47).
Defensive Player of the Week
Mallory Burchill, Husson - (Sophomore, GK - Kennebunk, Maine)
Burchill earned her sixth and seventh wins of the season, against NVU-Lyndon, 23-2, and Thomas, 14-9. She recorded 14 saves for a 56.0 save percentage. Burchill leads the NAC with 134 saves this season and a 50.8 save percentage.
