Women's Golf Takes Third Place at 2019 Bowdoin Invite

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Husson University women's golf team opened the season at the Bowdoin Invitational on Saturday.

Husson finished third out of four teams with a final score of 373. 
 
Bowdoin won the team title with a 332 behind medalist Abbie Kaestle (78), followed by Bates with 368, while Trinity (Conn.) took fourth with a 421.

For Husson, senior Taylor Burbo finished 5th (87), sophomore Veronica Diaz placed 8th (92), junior Katie Goulet tied for 9th (94), sophomore Makenzie Plourde finished 14th (100), and first-year Hailee Perkins placed 17th (105).

The Eagles return to the links tomorrow for the Polar Bear Shootout.
