Women's Golf Performs Well at Final Tournament of the Season

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Husson University women's golf team closed out the 2018-19 season at the Williams Spring Invitational at the Taconic Golf Club. The Eagles finished with a total score of 782 (391-391).

Husson was paced by Katie Goulet who shot a two-day total of 172 (85-87), earning a 21st place finish. Taylor Burbo finished 29th with a score of 202 (102-100). Rachel Vanadestine placed 30th with a 203 (100-103). Makenzie Plourde shot a 205 (104-101) and finished 31st to round out the scoring for the Eagles.

Williams won the tournament with a two-day total of 599 (303-296), followed by Amherst with a 635 (315-320). Joanna Kim (72-76) and Mehr Sawant (74-74) from Williams tied for medalist honors with a 148.

This concludes the 2018-19 season for the Husson University women's golf program.
