    BOSTON, Mass. - The Husson University women's basketball team (0-1) fell to #20 St. John Fisher College (2-0) in their first-ever meeting, by the final score of, 69-59. The Eagles opened up their season facing a nationally ranked team in the WBCA Preseason Coaches Poll as they competed in the Emmanuel College Tip-Off Classic at the Jean Yawkey Center.

    WATERVILLE, Maine - Four-time defending conference champions, Husson University was picked to win their fifth-consecutive title in the 2019-20 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women's Basketball Preseason Coaches Poll. The Eagles received six first-place votes for a total of 62 points. Last year's runner-up Maine Maritime Academy received the remaining two first-place votes and 58 points in a repeat prediction.

    BANGOR, Maine - Women's basketball standout Kenzie Worcester has been named Husson University's nomination for the 2018-19 NCAA and North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Woman of the Year award. A record 585 female college athletes have been nominated by NCAA member schools for the 2019 NCAA Woman of the Year award with 192 nominees from Division III schools. For the NAC, seven female student-athletes were nominated for the prestigious award which encompasses all facets of the NCAA Division III student-athlete experience.
