BANGOR, Maine - The Husson women's basketball program is excited to announce their first commitment for the 2019-20 season. Erianna Lawrence will be joining the Eagles all the way from Florida where she plays for Seminole High School.

A 6-0 post player, Lawrence has been a crucial player under the glass for the Fighting 'Noles as she's averaging 8.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, 1.0 steals, and 1.0 assists per game in her senior season. She currently plays for head coach Dr. Shenique Gilbert.

"Erianna is a strong, physical post player, who will make her presence know on the boards," states Husson women's basketball head coach Kissy Walker. "She will impact our team and we are excited about welcoming her to our Husson community."

Lawrence's team will be competing in the 9A District 2 Championship game tonight (Feb 8) as they advance into the big game with a 16-8 overall record this season and 9-3 in district action. The Seminoles will be taking on Lake Mary High School.

Lawrence will be studying Criminal Justice at Husson.
