    WATERVILLE, Maine - Wrapping up action in Florida in The Spring Games, the Husson softball team saw one Eagle pick up a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) weekly honor as Jen Jones was spotlighted at Pitcher of the Week.

    CLERMONT, Fla. – The Eagles closed out The Spring Games in sunny Florida with a split as Bri Brochu achieved her 150th career hit and Jen Jones became the second winningest pitcher in program history. Husson (6-6) softball picked up a 4-3 walk-off win against Heidelberg University (6-3) and dropped their final game of spring break to Western New England (1-1) with a final score of 5-2.

    The Husson University softball team picked up two victories on Day 5 of The Spring Games. The Eagles battled St. Scholastica to a close 2-1 victory in their first contest, before cruising to a 9-3 win over Becker in game two.

    CLERMONT, Fla. - Husson University (3-5) split a pair of games in THE Spring Games on Wednesday evening. The Eagles opened with a 2-1 triumph over Westfield State University and loss to Millikin University by a score of 4-2.

    WATERVILLE, Maine - After the first week of competition for the Husson University softball team, the Eagles swept the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Weekly Awards between first-year Sydney Ames being named Pitcher and Rookie of the Week, and senior Chloe Gorey picking up Player of the Week.

    The Husson Eagles (1-3) picked up their first victory of the 2020 season with a 9-6 win over Lesley University (0-4), before dropping the second game of the afternoon to the Valiants of Manhattanville College (1-0), 10-2.

    WATERVILLE, Maine - The defending North Atlantic Conference (NAC) champions of Husson University were predicted to repeat in a preseason poll of head softball coaches. The Eagles collected five first-place votes and a total of 46 points. Thomas finished second with 38 points, and UMaine-Presque Isle (UMPI) was close behind in third with 36 points and one first-place vote.

    BANGOR, Maine - Under first year head coach Diann Ramsey, the Husson softball team captured their second-straight North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship as Jen Jones pitched a perfect game to Kylie Cunningham behind the plate. NAC Tournament MVP Olivia Smith drove in the decisive run to cut Game 6 short in five innings, 8-0, as the Eagles defeated Thomas College, going undefeated in the double elimination tournament.

    BANGOR, Maine - A local star pitcher and 2019 KVAC Class A Player of the Year, Sydney Ames, will be the newest addition to the 2020 Husson softball program.
