    WATERVILLE, Maine - The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) is proud to announce that 138 student-athletes have earned a spot on the 2018-19 Winter and Spring All-Academic Team. Husson athletics landed 35 student-athletes on the NAC All-Academic Squad this year.

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced the 364 players chosen for the 2019 NCAA Division III All-Region softball teams. The squad is comprised of three 15-player teams — plus voting ties — in each of the country's eight NCAA regions.

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Husson University softball team (24-10) battled through ten innings in a defensive standoff with the #21 Massachusetts Institute of Technology Engineers (28-10-1) before MIT scored the lone run in the bottom of the 10th in Game 2 of the NCAA Division III Softball Championship regional round.
  • Arika Brochu Becomes First Eagle to be Named Louisville Slugger/NFCA DIII National Player of the Week

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Husson University utility player Arika Brochu claimed the final Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division III National Player of the Week honor of the 2019 season. She becomes the first Eagle to ever claim recognition from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA).

    WATERVILLE, Maine - Jen Jones’ RBI single in the bottom of the sixth inning snapped a 6-6 tie to lead the Husson University Eagles (23-9) to their second straight comeback victory of the 2019 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Softball Championship, this time over the Thomas College Terriers (23-9), 7-6, on Saturday afternoon at the Colby College Baseball and Softball Complex. Husson advances to their second consecutive NAC Championship final round and the program’s tenth overall.

    BANGOR, Maine – Husson University (21-9, 11-1 NAC) swept a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) softball doubleheader versus University of Maine at Farmington (14-17, 6-6 NAC) on Monday afternoon at O'Keefe Field. The Eagles took the opener, 2-1, and completed the sweep with a 9-3 triumph.

    LEWISTON, Maine - The Husson University softball team (17-9) split this afternoon's doubleheader at Bates College after both teams brought big bats in the first inning of each game to jump ahead. The Eagles took game one by a score of 8-2 over the Bobcats before falling in game two, 10-2.

    LYNDONVILLE, Vt. - The Husson University (16-8, 7-1 NAC) softball team swept their second consecutive North Atlantic Conference (NAC) doubleheader in the State of Vermont. The Eagles won game one by a score of 19-3 in five innings and the night cap, 20-0 (Five innings), over the Hornets Northern Vermont University-Lyndon (2-16, 0-6) at Skip Pound Field on Friday afternoon.

    BANGOR, Maine ? Hosting Thomas College (10-8, 3-1 NAC) for a doubleheader at the Dr. John W. Winkin Sports Complex, the Husson softball team (12-6, 3-1) dedicated their games to Noel Levasseur as the Eagles looked to raise awareness for ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig?s Disease. The two rivals split the day with Thomas taking game one and Husson finishing with a win in game two.

  • Husson Softball Game Times Changed for their Strike Out ALS Doubleheader on April 13th

    BANGOR, Maine - The Husson Softball Strike Out ALS doubleheader scheduled for Saturday, April 13th against Thomas College has been moved later in the day to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., and will now be played at the Dr. John W. Winkin Sports Complex. Softball will still be raising awareness for ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, as they play the games in support of Noel Levasseur.

    WATERVILLE, Maine - Jen Jones and Whitney Bess not only swept the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) softball weekly awards for their performances this past week, but also earned the first NAC weekly awards for their softball program this season. This marks the first time in Jones' career that she earned both Pitcher and Player of the Week at the same time.

    BANGOR, Maine – Despite playing their home opener on a more unfamiliar surface at Boucher Field, the Husson University softball team still pulled out two wins as junior pitcher Jen Jones struck out 13 batters in the first game and threw two more punch outs for the save in the second game to secure a Green and Gold sweep.
