CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Husson University men's outdoor track and field team competed and scored at the DIII New England Championships this weekend.
This is the highest a Husson men's outdoor track and field has ever finished, and the first time they had four men earn All-New England honors.
The 4x100 meter relay ran their second best time of the year, 43.45, to grab an 8th place finish. Jake Dobos, Race Bouchard, Evan Chadbourne, and Robenson Saintard was the order of the 4x100 relay. This was the program's first time placing in New England in the 4x100.
Along with the 4x100 relay, Robenson ran in the 100 meter. The sprinter and football wide receiver grabbed a 6th place finish (10.92). The finish set a school record and earned him All-New England honors.
Eric Hathaway took 8th in the shot put (14.24 m) to earn All New England honors and set a school record with his 9th place finish in the hammer (50.35 m).
Dominick Lizotte closed out the day placing 3rd as a true freshmen in the pole vault, while setting a school record (4.55m) and qualifying for the Open New England's tournament. He also earned All New England honors.
This concludes the 2018 season for the Husson men's outdoor track and field team.
