SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Capturing three points for the Husson men at Springfield College, Evan Chadbourne sprinted to a new school record time in the 200-meter dash to become the first runner in HU program history to earn All-New England Honors at the NCAA Division III New England Indoor Championship.
BANGOR, Maine – The Husson men's indoor track & field squad will be sending three Eagles to the NCAA Division III New England Indoor Championship this weekend hosted by Springfield College in Springfield, Mass. The meet will commence on Friday, February 28th with events continuing through Saturday, February 29th.
ORONO, Maine – Staying close to home this weekend, the Eagles took a trip down the highway to the University of Maine for a small non-scoring meet against Division I Black Bear track & field athletes along with several more competitors from a variety of schools.
GORHAM, Maine – Out of ten teams that competed at the Southern Maine Invitational #2, the Husson men tied for sixth with Bates College while accumulating 53 points. Evan Chadbourne once again paced the Eagles, bringing home the only first-place mark of the afternoon while also earning another spot to compete at the NCAA Division III New England Championship in his second event.
LEWISTON, Maine – Sprinting his heart, Evan Chadbourne led the Eagles to second place at the Bates Invitational on Saturday as he took gold in both the 60-meter and 200-meter dash events with times fast enough to break a program record and qualify for the New England Division III Championship for his first time. The junior contributed 20 points to the overall 93 points scored by the Husson men as half of the Eagles competed in Waterville, Maine at the Thomas Small School Open.
WALTHAM, Mass. – Senior John Chen was the big scorer of the day for the Eagles, bringing home eight points for Husson in the weight throw to help the men’s indoor track & field squad take ninth place at the Reggie Poyau Invitational on Saturday afternoon hosted by Brandeis University.
GORHAM, Maine – The Husson indoor track & field squad opened up their 2019-20 season with a non-scoring meet at the University of Southern Maine for their lone competition to finish out 2019. Winning five events on Saturday, the Eagles took on five other schools to ease into competition.

BANGOR, Maine - Husson University head track & field coach Kate Goupee is pleased to announce the addition of Tristan Wortman to her coaching staff. Wortman will serve as the assistant coach for pole vault and hurdles for both the men’s and women’s indoor and outdoor track and field programs.
BANGOR, Maine - Men's outdoor and indoor track & field competitor Cayd Wortman had a history making sophomore year as he became the first male Eagle to ever compete in the heptathlon and decathlon. His performance in both events resulted in multiple program records being left behind in his dust as he qualified for the New England Division III Championship in the heptathlon for indoor and decathlon for outdoor.
BANGOR, Maine - The Husson University men's cross country, men's indoor and outdoor track & field programs welcome 10 incoming student-athletes to join the 2019-20 squads, many of which will be competing as multi-sport athletes on more than one team throughout their career at Husson.
