School Records Fall for Men's Swim & Dive on Day One of 2020 GNAC Championship

WELLESLEY, Mass. - The first day of the 2020 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship is complete and the Husson University men sit in fourth place through eight events with 41 points.

Norwich University leads the pack with 68 points while Regis College (52), University of Saint Joseph (45), Husson and Saint Joseph's College of Maine (28) round out the top five.

THE RUNDOWN

  • The quartet of Steven Johnston, Joe Vail, Dan Egan, Tom Cote combined to finish second in the 200 Free Relay with a new school record time of 1:31.00, an effort worth 18 points.
  • Adam Colter finished sixth in the 1650 Free with a school record time of 20:55.18, an effort worth five points.
  • Johnston, Vail, T. Cote and Egan capped off day one of the 2020 GNAC Championship by finishing second in the 200 Medley Relay with a new school record time of 1:44.79, an effort worth 18 points.
