FRANKLIN, Mass. - Jaden Wells scored five goals while Blane Miller dished out five assists as Husson men's lacrosse (3-5) falls to Dean College (6-4) by the final score of, 17-10, in non-conference action at Grant Field on Tuesday evening.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Dean outscored Husson, 3-2, in the first quarter despite the Eagles having the lead twice in the quarter. The Eagles opened the scoring in the first minute as Adam Littlefield scored his 20th goal of the season from Brayden Charest. Just under ten minutes later, the Bulldogs responded with a goal to tie game thanks to Brody Fredericks. Shortly after, Wells added his 13th goal of the season as the Eagles regained the lead with the assist from Miller. Dean scored two goals in the final minute of the quarter to have a 3-2 lead after a quarter of play.
The Eagles outscored the Bulldogs, 5-2, in the second quarter. Zach Glazier scored his 20th goal of the season in the first minute of the second quarter to tie the game at three off a pass from Miller. Dean regained the lead before Littlefield added his second goal of the game from Gus Eisenmann to level the game at four. Wells took over the game in the final six minutes as he scored a hat trick in three minutes and 41 seconds separated by a lone Dean goal by Fredericks as Husson took a 7-5 lead into the intermission.
The Bulldogs outscored the Eagles, 7-3, in the third quarter. Dean took the lead right back thanks to three straight goals including two goals from Anthony Trasacco. Wells scored his fifth goal of the game to answer the Dean run and tie the game at eight midway through the third quarter. The Bulldogs scored the next two goals in under a minute before Gunner McAllister got on the scoreboard. Dean scored another two goals before Glazier added his second goal of the game before the quarter ended as Dean lead 12-10 after 45 minutes.
Dean shutout Husson, 5-0, in the final quarter en route to a 17-10 victory. Trasacco scored a natural hat trick in five minutes and 10 seconds followed by two Bulldog goals in just over a minute to round out the scoring.

- Louis Piccolo scored four goals.
The Eagles won the face-off battle, 16-15. The Bulldogs were 2-of-7 on the man up while the Eagles were 1-of-2. Dean scored a goal while down a man.
Husson will travel to Canton, New York, as the Eagles will take on the Kangaroos for a North Atlantic Conference showdown on the SUNY Canton Turf Field on Saturday, April 13th at 3:30 p.m.
