  • Two Lacrosse Players Earn Husson's First Spring NAC Weekly Awards

    WATERVILLE, Maine - Following an exciting week for men's lacrosse with head coach Mike Craig achieving his 20th career victory to become the program's winningest coach, senior men's lacrosse player Zach Glazier also achieved a career milestone recording his 100th career goal to become just the fourth player to do so. Following his accomplishments, Glazier was awarded North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Player of the Week. Women's lacrosse also had a star player in freshman Mary Cushing this past week as she fired shot of shot into the back of the net to earn the first NAC Rookie of the Week for the 2019 season.

    BANGOR, Maine - The Husson University Eagles (2-3, 1-0 NAC) dominated the Northern Vermont University-Johnson Badgers (0-3, 0-1 NAC), in their first North Atlantic Conference matchup of the season at home on Saturday afternoon, by a final score of 23-1. This win marks head men’s lacrosse coach Mike Craig’s 20th career victory to become the program’s winningest coach.

    BANGOR, Maine - Senior Zach Glazier scored with 1:57 remaining in the first sudden-death overtime period to give the Husson University Eagles a 14-13 victory over the visiting University of Southern Maine Huskies in a non-conference men's lacrosse game Friday afternoon at Boucher Field.

    WATERVILLE, Maine - Husson received five first-place votes and 47 points to earn the top spot in the 2019 NAC men's lacrosse preseason coaches poll. SUNY Canton received the remaining two first-place votes and 43 points for second place, and Maine Maritime Academy sits in third with 33 points.

    STANDISH, Maine - Opening up their 2019 season at Saint Joseph's College of Maine (1-1), the Husson men's lacrosse squad (0-1) scored three goals in the final 16 minutes of the game before falling to the Monks, 17-3, on Thursday afternoon.
