AUBURN, Maine – Husson University finished as the runner-up for the second-straight tournament with a 634 (310-324) team score in the two-day Bates College Invitational at the Martindale Country Club this weekend.
Bowdoin College claimed the team title with a 632 (323-309) card and Bowdoin's Matt McCarthy earned Medalist honors with a 153 (77-76) score.
Bates College was third (651, 324-327) and Colby rounded out the top four teams with a 652 (328-324) score.
FOR THE EAGLES:
- Hunter Flynn shot a two-day score of 155 (77-80), which placed him fourth overall.
- Eric Dugas (80-79) and Nick Mazurek (75-84) finished tied for 6th with a 159 score.
- Cade Charron recorded a 165 card (78-87) and tied for 13th.
- Max Woodman tied for 20th (174, 93-81)
The Eagles return to the links next weekend at the Williams College Fall Invite at the Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown, Mass.
