NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. -  After two rounds at Keene Trace Golf Club in the 2019 NCAA Division III Men's Golf National Championship, the Husson men's golf team will not be continuing into the next round after carding a 327 the first day and finishing their second round of play on Wednesday morning with an immensely improved 309. The Eagles bowed out of competition in a two-way tie for 30th out of 42 teams.

Following the first two rounds of play, the field was cut to the top 18 teams and the top-six individuals belonging to teams which either did not make the cutline or were competing as individuals outright entering the week. Mackenzie Clow was just one stroke shy of making the cut as an individual after consistently shooting 75 both days on the 72-par course.

Gavin Dugas also shot a 75 on day two, seeing a huge improvement after carding an 85 in the first round of competition on Tuesday. Both Daulton Wickenden (84-79) and Taylor Morang (83-80) finished with an overall score of 163, knocking off a few strokes on Wednesday. Rounding out scoring for the Eagles, Eric Dugas shot a 184 (93-91).

This concludes the 2018-19 season for the Husson men's golf team and wraps up competition for Husson athletics until the fall of 2019.
