    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Football (CCC Football) weekly awards were announced for week ten of the 2019 NCAA Division III football season. Husson University junior defensive end Frank Curran earned Defensive Player of the Week honors, while first-year defensive back Brandon Williams was named the Defensive Rookie of the Week for the third time this season. Curran becomes the first Eagle in program history to be named the CCC Football Defensive Player of the Week.

Halls becomes the first Eagle in program history to be named the CCC Football Offensive Player of the Week.

Husson University sophomore running back Shawn Noel, Jr. has earned Special Teams Player of the Week, while first-year defensive back Brandon Williams was named the Defensive Rookie of the Week. Noel, Jr. and Williams become the first two Eagles in program history earn a weekly award from the CCC Football.

The Eagles defeated the Gaulladet University Bison by the score of 63-2 to secure an automatic qualifier to the 2018 NCAA DIII Football Championship Tournament.
