    BANGOR, Maine - After becoming the winningest coach in program history with his 284th career victory, head baseball coach Jason Harvey announced that he would be stepping down from his role on Thursday morning.

Winkin Sports Complex.

  • Rogerson Named NCBWA Rookie of the Week

    BANGOR, Maine - For the first time in program history, a Husson baseball player was named National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Division III Rookie of the Week. Kobe Rogerson earned this recognition on the final week of awards being distributed with a 7-for-11 performance at a conference tournament as the top outing of the week nationally by any rookie.

Winkin Sports Complex on Sunday afternoon. With the victory, Husson earns the program’s first NAC Baseball Tournament title in six years.

    BANGOR, Maine - Behind a complete-game shutout performance by Jesse Colford, the top-seeded Husson University Eagles (25-14) defeated the second-seeded Northern Vermont University-Lyndon Hornets (22-20), 6-0, Saturday afternoon in Game Four of the 2019 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Baseball Tournament on The Harold Alfond Diamond at the Dr. John W. Winkin Sports Complex. Husson will advance to the program's 11th NAC Baseball Tournament final round in the last 15 years.

On the rubber, Jesse Colford beat out all other pitchers in the NAC for Pitcher of the Week for his first time this season.

    BANGOR, Maine - Husson University (23-14, 12-4 NAC) swept a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) baseball doubleheader versus University of Maine at Presque Isle (1-32, 0-16 NAC) at the Harold Alfond Diamond at the Dr. John W. Winkin Sports Complex on Monday afternoon. The Eagles opened with a 15-7 triumph and completed the season series sweep with a 10-0 nightcap victory to earn the program’s first number one seed in nine seasons and the hosting rights for the 2019 NAC Baseball Championship Tournament.

Winkin Sports Complex, winning the first game 8-6, and finishing the day with an 11-0 shutout.

    BANGOR, Maine -After a 5-0 win in game one of the two-game doubleheader, the Husson University Eagles (19-14, 8-4 NAC) finished off a sweep, defeating the Thomas College Terriers (10-19, 8-4 NAC) by a final score of 1-0 in the second game of senior day on the Alfond Diamond.

    LEWISTON, Maine – Despite the game being cut short by an inning, the Eagles (17-14) finished on top with a 15-3 victory over the Bates College Bobcats (11-12) in a single eight-inning non-conference game on a thunder and lightning-stricken evening on the road.

    WATERVILLE, Maine – Husson baseball (16-13, 6-4 NAC) rallies in the ninth to try and overcome an 11-point deficit, falling short just six runs as they fall to Colby College (7-12, 0-6 NESCAC) on a rainy Tuesday evening at Coombs field in non-conference action. 
  • Eagles Post Another NAC Action Doubleheader Split After Hosting the Terriers, 5-2, 1-2

    BANGOR, Maine - Husson baseball (16-12, 6-4 NAC) split Thursday’s doubleheader against the Thomas College Terriers (3-15, 1-1 NAC) at the Dr. John W. Winkin Sports Complex after an unexpected snowstorm sent the Terriers to Husson to play their twin bill. The Eagles took game one by a score of 5-2, but dropped game two to the Terriers, 2-1.

Winkin Sports Complex.

    BANGOR, Maine -The Husson University Eagles (12-9, 3-1 NAC) defeated the Bates College Bobcats (6-9, 1-2 NESCAC) in a nine-inning game on Tuesday night on the Harold Alfond Diamond, shutting down a last inning attempt to rally by the Bobcats as the Eagles snatched a 6-4 victory.

    WATERVILLE, Maine - Two Husson baseball pitchers draw in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) weekly honors after throwing impressive shutout victories in a Saturday doubleheader sweep against UMaine-Farmington this past weekend. Sophomore Cam Graham achieved his second career NAC Pitcher of the Week honor while Brandon Brunell was recognized for his first collegiate start as the NAC Rookie of the Week.
