Kelly Dow had a tremendous career as a Husson athlete. Kelly played four years of both basketball and softball and two years of volleyball. On the basketball court Dow ranks near the top of almost all major categories. She played 103 games for the Eagles, scored 1,249 points (placing her at fifth all-time), made 533 field goals (good enough for fourth all-time), had a 50.08 field goal percentage (ranking third all-time). Dow also grabbed 650 rebounds, ranking her sixth all-time. Defensively, Dow was a force to be reckoned with, tallying 107 steals and 141 blocks, ranking her second all-time.
As a junior, while leading her basketball team to the NAIA National Tournament in Sioux City, Iowa, she was named MAC Player of the Year, with MAC First Team honors. She was selected as First Team State of Maine in her senior year.
As a softball player she earned MAC All-Conference honors as an infielder in 1999 and MAC All-Conference honors as a pitcher in 2000.
During her two years of volleyball, Kelly was named Rookie of the Year in 1997 and made the MAC All-Conference Team in 1997 and 1998.
Kelly is currently the General Manager of Blaze Restaurant in downtown Bangor. She resides in Hermon, Maine with her eight-year-old son Jacob.
