WATERVILLE, Maine - For the fifth time this season, first-year Bailey Donovan was named North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Rookie of the Week while fellow Husson basketball player and classmate, Scott Lewis, earned his first NAC Rookie of the Week honor.

Donovan was the Eagle's leading scorer for all three games this week, including 13 points against nationally ranked #2/#2 Bowdoin. She scored back-to-back 20-point games against NAC foe UMaine-Presque Isle and collected 17 rebounds across both games. Overall on the week, the rookie averaged 17.7 points, 8.7 boards, and 0.7 blocks per game. She shot a steady 72.0% (18-25) from the field and was a frequent flyer to the free throw line, netting 77.3% (17-22) of her foul shots.
Scott Lewis, Husson
First-year, F - South Portland, Maine
Draining a pair of clutch threes against the Owls on Saturday, Lewis helped Husson sweep UMaine-Presque Isle over the weekend and improve to 4-0 in the conference. The rookie averaged 13.5 points and nine boards per game to fall just shy of a double-double. He finished the week with 27 points on 55.0% shooting (11-20), 18 rebounds, four assists, one steal, and one block.
