With his second hit as an Eagle, sophomore Holzworth launched the ball flying over the fence to clear the bases against Salem State University for the first Husson grand slam in four years. His first career homer helped secure the Eagles' first win of the season as they split a doubleheader with the Vikings. In four at bats this past weekend, Holzworth scored his first run while recording five RBI and one walk to contribute to a strong season opener for Husson baseball.
Chadbourne became the first Eagle runner in HU program history to be earn All-New England Honors at the NCAA Division III New England Indoor Championship, after sprinting to a new school record time in the 200-meter dash (22.88 seconds). The junior's new personal best time in the 200-meter helped him in finish in sixth out of 13th runners on Saturday. Chadbourne also finished 15th out of all competitors in the 60-meter dash, just shy of matching his PR as he crossed in at 7.16 seconds.
