Thornton Academy's Jaden Wells Commits for the 2018 Season

BANGOR, Maine - The Husson men's lacrosse program has received a commitment from Jaden Wells for the 2018 season. Wells is this years first member of the recruiting class. 

"We are tremendously excited with Jaden committing to Husson University, "Coach Mike Craig said, "He embodies what we are looking for in a student athlete, and we are looking forward to what he can contribute to our program and the Husson community. He will be an immediate impact player, and it will be wonderful to watch him flourish here." 

Jaden Wells is a senior at Thornton Academy in Saco, Maine.  A three year varsity player, Jaden has contributed at attack, midfield, and face-offs, while helping the team to a regular season record of 20 wins and 7 losses.  

In 2016, Jaden earned a roster spot with USA Lacrosse's U19 Indoor Team. He played for Team USA in the World Junior Indoor Lacrosse Championship which are held at the Six Nations Arena in Ontario, Canada.

Jaden has a 3.4 GPA and scored 1250 on his SAT's, and plans to major in Business.  He currently lives in Saco with his parents Jeff and Sheila, and has an older brother Jonah studying Engineering at the University of Maine.

Husson men's lacrosse will kick off the 2017 season March 1st at Curry at 3:30 pm.
